Adyn’s Dream is so excited to finally announce a very special event designed just for the kids of our community! On Saturday, February 11th, at 12:00 pm, Adyn’s Dream is hosting a Kids Art Carnival on the stage at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium!!! What’s an Art Carnival? We have teamed up with The Judy Chops (who are also playing a set later that night for the Pokey LaFarge concert) and Guardian Aliens to create an event that will allow the kids to explore art through different mediums and freely express their creativity & imagination!
The Judy Chops will be playing a special interactive kids set during the event while your child gets the experience of working with some of Athens’ most accomplished artists one-on-one to create masterpieces and memories! Some of the events include creating a special magical mural, each child will have the chance to make their own painting using the wheelchair art experience (Adyn’s favorite), face painting, sand art, and more! We’ll have jugglers and dancers as well … all taking place on the stage at Memorial Auditorium!!!
So mark your calendars for this very special event – February 11th from 12:00 – 2:00 pm! Entry to the Art Carnival is Donation Only, and every dollar raised goes to Adyn’s Dream mission to assist families with children born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Children of all ages are welcome and will love this event … plus a great way to get out of the house on a winter weekend for a great cause! More information coming soon! Let us know if you have any questions, and please help us spread the word!
